The Overcomer’s Covenant in Christ

  • Overcomer's Covenant in Christ I place all my trust and confidence in the Lord and I put no confidence in the flesh – I declare myself to be dependent upon God.  I know that I cannot save myself, nor set myself free by my own efforts and resources.  I know that apart from Christ I can do nothing.  I know that all temptation is an attempt to get me to live my life independently from God, but God has provided a way of escape.
  •

  • I consciously and deliberately choose to submit to God and resist the devil by denying myself, picking up my cross daily and following Jesus.  I know that my soul was not designed by God to function as master.  I know that rebellion is as the sin of witchcraft, and insubordination is an iniquity and idolatry.

You Are What You Think

Romans 12v2“For as he thinketh in his heart, so is he”(Proverbs 23:7)

The Word of God says that we are what we think in our hearts. Our character, how we see ourselves, how others see us, our victories and failures are not a result of chance or favor, but a result of our thought lives. Good thoughts bear good fruit, bad thoughts bad fruit (Matthew 7:17). Continue reading

Scriptures For The Family

Joshua24v15 (Isaiah 54:13)
And all thy children shall be taught of the LORD; and great shall be the peace of thy children.

(Acts 16:31)
And they said, Believe on the Lord Jesus Christ, and thou shalt be saved, and thy house.

(Ephesians 5:21-26)
Submitting yourselves one to another in the fear of God. Wives, submit yourselves unto your own husbands, as unto the Lord. For the husband is the head of the wife, even as Christ is the head of the church: and he is the saviour of the body. Therefore as the church is subject unto Christ, so let the wives be to their own husbands in every thing. Husbands, love your wives, even as Christ also loved the church, and gave himself for it; That he might sanctify and cleanse it with the washing of water by the word. Continue reading

Scriptures For Endurance

mark13v13(2 Timothy 2:10)
Therefore I endure all things for the elect’s sakes, that they may also obtain the salvation which is in Christ Jesus with eternal glory. It is a faithful saying: For if we be dead with him, we shall also live with him.

We Have What We Say!

Psalm141v3“Death and life are in the power of the tongue: and they that love it shall eat the fruit thereof”(Proverbs 18:21)

“I have set before you life and death, blessing and cursing: therefore choose life, that both thou and thy seed may live” (Deuteronomy 30:19)

Our words have power! There is absolutely no doubt about that! God spoke you, me, and this world into existence. He tells us in His Word that we have the power to speak life or death, blessing or cursing into our lives, that of our children, those around us, and into our circumstances. God gave us a choice between life and death, blessings and curses, and in His Wisdom, He tells us to choose life that we and our descendants may live. Glory to God! Continue reading
